Former Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie was blown away watching Mohammed Kudus for the first time as the midfielder dazzled in Ajax’s 4-0 Champions League victory.
Kudus deservedly won man of the match after a spectacular performance in his first start of the season after coming off the bench in the previous five.
The 22-year-old scored Ajax’s third goal of the game, but it was his first in the Champions League.
He held off defenders to enter the left-hand side of the penalty area and fire an arrow which crashed into the post and into the net.
Bolasie, who now plays in Turkey, took to social media to praise Kudus, writing “This young Kudus… is good first time watching him”

Kudus, who has been benched in all league games this season, attempted to leave Ajax during the summer transfer window.
He reached a personal agreement with Premier League club Everton, but Ajax blocked the transfer, claiming Kudus is still part of their plans despite being relegated to the bench.
Manager Alfred Schreuder gave Kudus his first start against the Scottish side, and the Ghanaian took full advantage, scoring for the second game in a row.
Kudus now has two goals an assist this season.
