Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has not ruled out a potential return at the helm.
Appiah is currently the trainer of Sudanese national team after inking a three year deal and tasked to revive football in the Northeast African country.
In the course of attaining the goal, Appiah has guided the Falcons of Jediane to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Reacting to that on Asempa FM Appiah didnot ruled out the possibility, saying he is focused on his work as the head coach of Sudan.
“If you are a professional coach, you will have to always keep in mind that you must be ready for any opportunity but as of now, I have a contract with Sudan,” he told
“For now, I am focused on what I am doing with Sudan but for now, I don’t want to say anything because I don’t want to contradict myself,” he added.
Appiah was first appointed Black Stars coach from 2012 to 2014 and from 2017 to 2020.
He is famously remembered for qualifying Ghana for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
