Former Asante Kotoko supporters’ chief Kwaku Amponsah confident club will win league title

Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah is very confident the club will win the Ghana Premier League title this season.

The Porcupine Warriors after shambolic start to the campaign, improved tremendously to finish third in the first half of the domestic top-flight campaign.

The Premier League bounces back this weekend and Kotoko will travel to face Heart of Lions in the week 18 fixture.

Speaking to Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Amponsah, popularly called Chairman K5 expressed optimism about the clubs Ghana Premier League title chances.

“We are focused on the Ghana Premier League because we want to go to Africa next season and to represent Ghana in Africa, it’s either you win the league or the FA Cup”

“We are out of the FA Cup so all that we have to do is to win the league and go to Africa. I’m confident Kotoko will win the league” he said.
