Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper George Owu urges current players to play with all their hearts

In a heartfelt plea to the current players of Asante Kotoko, former goalkeeper George Owu has passionately urged them to approach the game with unwavering dedication and play with all their hearts.

Owu, who has a rich history with the club, expressed his gratitude, revealing that Asante Kotoko played a crucial role in his career.

For Owu, the connection with Asante Kotoko goes beyond the pitch. Even after parting ways with the team, he found himself indebted to the club. Astonishingly, the club chose not to collect the money he owed them.

“Kotoko is a team that they put all their hearts into it if you are a player for Kotoko you have to be ready to die for the team and the supporters,” he told Dan Kweku Yeboah TV on Youtube.

“It is a job that you are also doing so people are watching you and you have to do it well but sometimes some defeat comes and you see that no it is not the fault of the players.

“So they have to see that these boys want to work hard of the team Kotoko when I was leaving the team I as a player owed them a team I worked for got a loan from them and still owes them Kotoko did not collect the money I owed them,”
