Former Ajax midfielder Theo Janssen has labelled Mohammed Kudus as the best No. 10 at the club.
Kudus has shown promising performances in his two-year stay at the club despite injury concerns.
However, the 22-year-old seem fit as a fiddle, having scored three goals in pre-season, more than any other player at Ajax but has found playing time hard to come by.
“I saw him come in again and he is perhaps the best ten they have. I think he is a really good player,” Said the 41-year old on VTBL.
“He has good technique and a decent speed. He also has a pretty good kick and overview, so he actually has a lot of qualities that you need as a midfielder”.
Kudus has expressed his desire to leave the Dutch champions for more first team football with English sides Everton and Wolves expressing interest.
The attacking midfielder joined Ajax from Denmark side Nordjelland in 2020 for €9 million.
