Black Princesses captain Evelyn Badu will miss Ghana’s opener against the United States in the U-20 World Cup after suffering an ankle injury.
She picked up the horrific injury on Wednesday during training in preparation for the clash against the United States.
The highly-rated forward is in POP and waiting for scan results to confirm the ankle injury situation.
It is understood the African Young best player could miss the entire tournament.
But the medical team are providing Evelyn with all the required support to get her back on her feet.
The Black Princesses face USA on Thursday at the Estadio Alejandro Morera at 17:00GMT.
