Ousmane Dembele added the FIFA best Award to the 2025 Ballon D’Or to cap off a fine Year as Black Stars skipper Jordan Ayew put Cole Palmer first in his shortlist.
Chelsea’s Cole Palmer took top spot for Ayew, who took over as substantive captain of the Black Stars in 2025.
The forward placed Kylian Mbappé second and Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé third on his ballot.
Palmer, who won the FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball award in July 2025, is making waves in the football world.
His impressive performance in the Club World Cup, where he scored twice and assisted once in the final, earned him the top spot on Ayew’s list .
The Best FIFA Men’s Player recognized the outstanding achievements of the world’s top footballers, with the winner announced at a ceremony in Doha, Qatar.
Dembélé ultimately took home the award, edging out Lamine Yamal and Mbappé.
