Barcelona are fresh off winning the Supercopa de Espana with a 3-1 victory over Real Madrid in the final. Now, Xavi is focused on winning a second trophy this season, which would be the La Liga title.

The Blaugrana will welcome Getafe to Camp Nou on Sunday evening. Barcelona won 13 of their last 15 games in La Liga and confidence will be high that they can pick up another victory.

Getafe are 15th in the standings and experiencing another relegation fight. Los Azulones are on a two-game losing streak in the division and outside the bottom three by just one point.

Barcelona picked up four wins, one draw, and a defeat against Getafe in their last six head-to-head encounters. The Blaugrana are on a three-game unbeaten streak versus Getafe. They won their last three games versus Los Azulones in the last three matches at Camp Nou.

Xavi’s team is top of the La Liga form table. Barcelona picked up 16 points from the last six games with 11 goals for and two against. The Blaugrana have the best defence in the league with just six goals conceded.

Getafe took seven points from their last six games in La Liga. They are struggling to score goals, as just five were tallied from the last six matches. Getafe’s defence only allowed five goals across those six games.

Los Azulones’ defence has been good this season but not spectacular. They have allowed 24 goals to opponents across 17 games.

Getafe’s attack is one of the league’s worst, as they scored 16 goals in 17 games in La Liga. It is the fifth-fewest goals in La Liga this season.

In the last six games against Barcelona, Getafe scored a mere five times. Barcelona found the back of the net 11 times in the previous six games versus Getafe.

Xavi will be without two of his most important attacking players. Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres are both ruled out of the match due to suspension. Memphis Depay, Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati, and Raphinha are all in line to make starts.

Getafe manager Quique Sanchez Flores has no fresh injury issues going into the game. Enes Unal leads Getafe with five goals in La Liga. Unal has tallied 31% of Getafe’s goals this term.

Barcelona are on a great run of form in La Liga and should ease to victory over a poor Getafe team. The Blaugrana should win 3-0 and remain the league’s top side.
