FC Andorra vs CD Lugo – 20/11/2022

FC Andorra to add to Lugo’s problems in the Segunda

386

On Sunday afternoon, FC Andorra hosts struggling Lugo in the Spanish Segunda as the two teams battle it out for points in the Spanish second tier.

The home side is currently in 11th place in the Segunda table and just four points adrift of the play-off spots in the Spanish second tier.

Their recent run of form has been inconsistent, as they have won just two of their previous seven matches in the Segunda.

A 1-0 home defeat by Racing Santander last time out ended a short two-game winning run for Andorra in the league. The game continued a low-scoring trend for Andorra in the Segunda, as it was the sixth game from their last seven that produced under 2.5 goals.

After winning their first three home matches in the Segunda, FC Andorra heads into this clash on the back of three home defeats in their last four league games. They have also failed to score in all three losses.

The visitors currently occupy the final relegation spot in the Segunda. However, they are just two points adrift of the teams above them. One win could change everything for the visitors, however.

Lugo has won just one of their previous 11 matches in the second tier. That recent run includes a three-game winless run in the league.

Like their opponents, Lugo’s recent Segunda games have been low-scoring, as there have been under 2.5 goals scored in six of their previous seven matches.

The visitors have struggled for any sort of away form of late. They are currently winless in their last five league games on their travels, having suffered four defeats in the process.

What does Forebet predict?

Forebet predicts that Andorra will improve their play-off chances by recording a victory in a low-scoring encounter.
