Black Stars and Leicester City forward Fatawu Issahaku has assured Ghanaians that the team will give their all in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana endured a disappointing AFCON qualification campaign, failing to book a spot in the tournament for the first time since 2004.

The Black Stars finished at the bottom of their group, managing only three draws without a single win.

However, the team could right their wrongs in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers fixtures against Chad and Madagascar on 21 and 24th March respectively.

“We still need your support, and we are ready to fight for the nation as always. But we still need your support to get the victory, and we hope to see you all in the stadium,” he said via the Ghana Football Association.

Issahaku, who is recovering from a long-term injury, is expected to miss the crucial encounters.
