Nations FC secured a thrilling 2-1 win over Medeama SC in Week 24 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The match, held at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese, saw Razak Simpson power Nations FC into the lead with a 33rd-minute goal, ending the first half 1-0.
Medeama SC equalized in the 62nd minute with a spot kick from Yussif Mubarik.
However, Nations FC regrouped and produced some impressive football, ultimately leading to Faisal Chawuetey’s 79th-minute goal that sealed the win.
Following this victory, Nations FC jump to fifth place in the table with 35 points, while Medeama SC sit seventh with 32 points.
In their next fixtures, Nations FC will face Aduana Stars, and Medeama SC will take on Samartex FC.
