Crystal Palace’s manager, Roy Hodgson has shed light on the reasoning behind extending Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew’s contract, emphasizing the player’s reliability and consistency.

Hodgson commended Ayew, stating, “He certainly is one of the most reliable and consistent players that we have. You can always rely upon him to give you 100% both in his attacking play and his defending play.”

The manager highlighted how Ayew’s experience and maturity have enhanced his game, making him an even more valuable asset.

Continuing his praise, Hodgson noted Ayew’s strong start to the season and expressed the desire to have him continue this form throughout the entire 38-game season.

This latest extension ensures that Jordan Ayew will remain a key figure in Crystal Palace’s squad until June 2025.
