Madagascar have unveiled their squad for the initial round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Their first challenge will take them to Ghana later this month, where they will face off against the Black Stars at the BabaYara Stadium in Kumasi.
In preparation for this vital game, Coach Romuald ‘Roro’ Rakotondrabe has meticulously selected a group of 28 players who will gather for training and readiness.
Reflecting on Madagascar’s previous 3-0 defeat during their last visit to Ghana, Coach Roro is determined to rewrite that story in the context of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In that match, the Ghanaian squad, led by star player Mohammed Kudus, emerged victorious, with the West Ham United attacker delivering a spectacular goal. Felix Afena-Gyan and Osman Bukari were also among the scorers for the Black Stars.
The impending clash between Ghana and Madagascar is scheduled for November 17, at 16:00 GMT.
