Exit of our strikers have affected our campaign – Bechem United coach Seth Osei

Bechem United head coach, Seth Osei has admitted that the exit of their strikers have affected their campaign.

Hafiz Konkoni, Augustine Okrah and Emmanuel Avornyo have all left the club in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.

Konkoni joined Young Africans of Tanzania before switching to Libya club, Olympic Azzaweya on loan after struggling to command a regular shirt.

Augustine Okah plays for Tanzania club, Young Africans with Emmanuel Avornyo recently signing for Macedonian First Football League side KF Shkupi.

After being held to a goalless drawn game against Asante Kotoko over the weekend at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Osei admitted that the exit of their strikers have created a vacuum upfront.

“Well yes, it’s only these players that we have with Hafiz Konkoni and Augustine Okrah gone, it is left with Annor and Cephas,” he told StarTimes.

“So we will work hard on them so that they can find their scoring boots,” he added.

Bechem United are 6th on the table with 34 points from 23 matches and will face Great Olympics in the Matchday 25 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
