Euro 2024 dates, fixtures, groups and schedule

Euro 2024 takes place this summer with the best nations on the continent competing for one of the biggest prizes in international football.

Three years ago, England narrowly missed out on winning their first major trophy since 1966, losing to Italy on penalties in front of a home crowd at Wembley.

This summer the tournament will take place in Germany, who have lifted the title three times in the past. Their last victory came in 1996 but they will certainly be one of the contenders thanks to home advantage.

However, it’s hard to look past France, who have appeared in the last two World Cup finals. They hosted the Euros back in 2016, narrowly losing to Portugal in the final 1-0.

England will also fancy their chances and Spain have an exciting young team looking to compete so it’ll be an interesting tournament, with one or two upsets bound to happen.
