Ghanaian midfielder Eric Taylor has completed a loan switch to NK Aluminij Kidričevo from Maribor during the winter window.
The move makes him Aluminij’s fourth signing as the club reshapes its squad for the second half of the season.
Taylor is expected to strengthen midfield options as the team pushes to secure league safety and remain competitive in the cup.
The 24-year-old only arrived at Maribor last summer after previous stints in Norway with Lillestrøm and at Ghana’s New Life FC academy.
He featured regularly in domestic and European competitions before the winter break.
Across all tournaments, Taylor recorded one goal and three assists in just over 600 minutes of action.
Upon his arrival, the midfielder expressed confidence that Kidričevo offers the right environment to grow and contribute.
“I am very happy that the two clubs agreed on my arrival in KidriÄevo.
“I followed the Aluminij team and they played very well in the autumn part, not least they also won against Maribor in the last round.”
“Now I have to show my maximum in training first, to prove myself to the coach, I believe that I will be able to help the Aluminij team with my character and knowledge on the way to staying in the first league and fighting for the cup trophy.”
