Asante Kotoko SC have confirmed the departure of midfielder, Emmanuel Keyekeh following his contract expiration after a two-year stay with the club.
His stay with the Ghana Premier League champions was blighted by incessant injuries which limited him to 22 appearances in 24 months.
As a result, the 24-year-old, who joined Kotoko in 2020 from Karela United, dropped down the pecking order with Richmond Lamptey and Salifu Mudasiru- now with Sherrif Tiraspol, usually preferred.
Everyone at Asante Kotoko wishes to express our gratitude to Emmanuel Keyekeh for his contribution to our success. The player leaves following the expiration of his Contract with the club..
All the best for the future Emma 🙏#AKSC #Fabucensus pic.twitter.com/RzCBAn5hTt
