Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu denies move to Asante Kotoko

Ghanaian midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has dismissed claims linking him with a move to Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko.

The former U-20 star has been unattached since departing Chinese club Quindao FC in January.

It has been reported he will join former side, Kotoko on a year deal.

“I have not received any offer from Asante Kotoko as we speak but rather I have agreed on terms with a club in Accra, infact the financier of the club called me into a meeting and we finalized,” He told Ctv

The Accra-based club is believed to be FA Cup champions, Hearts of Oak who remain resolute in augmenting their squad for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.

The 31-year-old has had stints in Italy, Turkey and China.

Agyemang-Badu was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
