Dreams FC coach switches attention to FA Cup following Confederation Cup exit

Dreams FC head coach Karim Zito remains resolute in his pursuit of success despite a recent setback in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Following a disappointing defeat to Zamalek SC in the semifinals, Zito expressed his disappointment but quickly shifted his focus to the upcoming challenges ahead.

Despite a 3-0 loss in the second leg at the Baba Yara Stadium, which dashed their hopes of reaching the final after a goalless draw in the first leg, Zito reaffirmed his commitment to defending the FA Cup title.

“I remain focused on defending the FA Cup title. Our attention now shifts to the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup,” he emphasized during an interview on Asempa FM.

Dreams FC is scheduled to face Soccer Intellectuals in the quarterfinal of the Cup on Wednesday, May 1, at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Despite the recent setback, Zito’s determination to maintain their winning streak is evident, following their triumph in the previous season’s FA Cup final against King Faisal.
