Head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashir Hayford, expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 2-2 draw with Dreams FC in a week three fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
The Kpando-based side battled hard to secure the away draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium, which extends their unbeaten run to three games in the new campaign.
Speaking to the media after the game, Hayford shared his contentment with his team’s performance on the road.
“Away games, if you get a draw, it’s perfect,” he said.
“We went to Aduana and got a draw, and today too we have another draw. Away matches come with a lot of dynamics, so to leave here with a point is good for us. We will now prepare for the next game,” said Coach Hayford concluded.
Heart of Lions are currently in third place with five points and will face Bibiani Gold Stars in their next encounter.
