Former Asante Kotoko player Kofi Ntow Gyan has attributed Nsoatreman FC’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup to their lack of experience.
The Ghana FA Cup holders were eliminated by CS Constantine, losing 3-0 on aggregate after a 1-0 defeat in Algeria and a 2-0 loss in Accra.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Gyan expressed his belief that inexperience played a key role in Nsoatreman FC’s inability to progress to the next stage of the competition.
“This is their first appearance in Africa, and they have not been in this terrain before, so the inexperience has cost them a bit,” Gyan said
“If we are 50 in a class, and I finished 50th in the first term and 49th in the second term, you see there is improvement? So Nsoatreman conceding just 1-0 away in Algeria, I think they have done well.”
Nsoatreman FC will now shift their focus to the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup, aiming to secure a return to African competition next season.
