Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has expressed disappointment with his side’s performance following their goalless draw against Bechem United on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians hosted the Hunters at the University of Ghana Stadium, aiming to secure maximum points to boost their title ambitions in the 2025/26 season, but were unable to find a breakthrough despite controlling large spells of the match.
Bechem United adopted a defensive approach and looked dangerous on the counter, forcing Hearts to settle for a stalemate at full-time.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Dramani admitted the result was frustrating for his team.
“For them they will say it’s a fair result because right from the onset we could see that is what they wanted to do — to sit and go on the breaks. We could have also lost the game because in such situations it’s really tough. I think we were disappointing,” he said.
The draw means Hearts of Oak drop two crucial points in Week 21, but they remain fourth on the Ghana Premier League table with 36 points, one ahead of rivals Asante Kotoko, setting up a high-stakes Super Clash in the next round.
