Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has voiced his displeasure after watching his side fall 2-0 to Eleven Wonders in their Ghana Premier League Week 12 encounter.
The defeat marked the team’s second straight loss, deepening their struggle near the bottom of the table.
Two headers, one in each half from Mathew Amponsah and Edmund Afurapoe, secured the win for the hosts, who finished the match with ten players.
Dormon admitted that the outcome mirrored parts of the contest but lamented his side’s missed opportunities.
“In some parts, the result is a true reflection of the game. We had some pockets of chances, but unfortunately, we didn’t take the chances. They took their chances; they scored one in the first half and a second one in the second half,” he said.
He added that the display fell short of what they had prepared for, calling it a “very disappointing performance.”
“This is not the result we rehearsed for. We need to pick the positives from this game and look forward to the next game.”
With back-to-back defeats now on their record, Dreams FC return home knowing they must beat Bechem United to move out of the relegation zone.
