Semenyo and Bournemouth suffer narrow home defeat to Everton

Published: 1 week ago
English Premier League

Antoine Semenyo’s Bournemouth suffered a 1-0 defeat to Everton at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday.

The match was a tight affair, with Everton creating more scoring opportunities, particularly in the second half.

Bournemouth struggled to generate chances, and despite pushing for an equalizer, they couldn’t break down Everton’s defense.

Everton’s goal came in the second half, courtesy of a well-taken strike from Jack Grealish.

Jordan Pickford made some impressive saves to keep Bournemouth at bay, while Semenyo had a few chances to trouble the Everton goalkeeper but couldn’t find the back of the net.

The defeat is a setback for Bournemouth’s European ambitions after throwing away a two goal lead at the weekend.

Semenyo, who has been in excellent form, is now five games withouta goal in the league and will be looking to bounce back from this slump and continue his impressive run.
