Former Ghana International Bernard Dong Bortey has tipped current Hearts prolific striker, Hamza Issah, will surpass the great Ishmael Addo.
The Aurora’s product has scored three goals for the Phobians.
He scored his first against Bibiani GoldStars when he grabbed the equalizer late in a matchday 7 encounter at Duns Park last Saturday.
Issah continued his strong play against Medeama SC, scoring a brace in a 3-1 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Dong Bortey, in an interview on the Max 89.7 FM, said: “I have said it before that we have got a certain player called Hamza Issah, and he’ll be better than Ishmael Addo.”
He also believes the youngster has what it takes to excel at the international level with Ghana.
“He has just started, and we’re still training him to become better because if you’re able to spot talent as a football person, you’ll know he [Hamza Issah] will be a great player and will achieve so much for Ghana in the future.”
