Referee Quartey will now officiate in CAF and FIFA FIFA Futsal competitions as well as GFA organised Futsal matches.

He had his Secondary Education in Osudoku Senior High Technical School before enrolling in Hampen State University. His refereeing career began in 2011 and has been instrumental in the resumption of Futsal Refereeing in Ghana.

Referee Quartey has been excellent in all his courses, tests, and matches.

The Ghana Football Association has congratulated Referee Quartey and the Association’s Referees Department for this important milestone.

“This opens the development doors for even more of our Futsal referees internationally,” GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo (Esq.) stated.

The General Secretary was full of admiration for Mr. Alex Kotey, the Referees Manager, the Futsal the Referees Committees of the Association.

The progress made is in line with the development goals for Futsal in GFA Strategic Objectives approved by the Executive Council of the Association and signed off by FIFA.
