Denis Odoi leaves Royal Antwerp after one season

Black Stars defender Denis Odoi has parted ways with Belgian side Royal Antwerp after just one season, despite having a year left on his contract.

The 37-year-old wing-back mutually agreed with the club to terminate his deal, citing personal reasons for the early exit.

“Personal reasons are the reason for the termination of the contract,” Odoi said. “I thank the club for their understanding, my teammates, staff, and especially the fans; I felt your support from day one.”

Antwerp also thanked Odoi for his contributions, wishing him success in the next chapter of his career.

The former Fulham and Club Brugge player is now a free agent and open to new offers this transfer window.
