Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey’s two goals for Brighton & Hove Albion have been nominated for the English Premier League Goal of the Month award for December.
The Brighton & Hove Albion defender delivered an equalizer in their 2-2 draw against Aston Villa and followed it up with an exquisite volley in another 2-2 draw against Leicester City in the English Premier League.
Lamptey’s strikes will compete against goals from Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Manchester United’s Amad Diallo, Enes Unal’s free-kick for Bournemouth against West Ham, Matheus Cunha’s goal for Wolves against Manchester United, and Chris Wood’s goal for Nottingham Forest against Everton.

The 24-year-old has found his form this season, overcoming a slow start to secure a regular spot in the White and Blues lineup.
Lamptey has been involved in four goals, scoring two and providing two assists in just seven Premier League appearances.
