Tariq Lamptey has expressed his happiness over his maiden Black Stars call-up and “can’t wait” to wear the shirt.
The highly-rated right back is part of the 29-man squad who have been invited for September friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua, having switched nationality to play for Ghana in July.
Lamptey was in the country and watched Ghana’s 3-0 win over Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium in June.

The 21-year old joins Inaki Williams,Stephan Ambrosius and Ransford Yeboah Könlgsdörffer who have all been handed debut invitations to the Black Stars squad following their switch of allegiance.
He is expected to feature in the two friendly matches , against Brazil on September 23 in Le Havre, France, before engaging Nicaragua three days later in Spain.
