Asante Kotoko is thrilled to announce the acquisition of defender Patrick Asiedu from Berekum Chelsea.

The 21 year old penned down three year contract with the Kumasi based outfit ahead until 2027.

Asiedu boasts an impressive 50 appearances in Ghana’s top-flight league.

Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing. 

“We have been monitoring his progress closely, and we believe he has the qualities to thrive in our system and help us achieve our objectives this season.”

Dr. Ogum also emphasized the strategic importance of this signing, noting, “In modern football, the role of a left back is pivotal not only in defense but also in initiating attacks.”

“Patrick’s versatility and understanding of the game align perfectly with our tactical approach. His presence will undoubtedly create more balance and options for us on the left flank.”
