Defender Osei Bonsu signs with Moldovan Club Spartanii Sportul

Ghanaian defender Nicholas Osei Bonsu has officially joined Spartanii Sportul, a top-tier Moldovan Superliga club, on a free transfer ahead of the upcoming season.

The 23-year-old successfully completed a mandatory medical examination before being unveiled by the club.

Bonsu joins the Moldovan side after mutually terminating his contract with Asante Kotoko following the 2023-24 season.

The left-back’s move to Spartanii Sportul was facilitated by the club’s manager, Nana Yaw Amponsah, who previously served as the CEO of Kotoko.

During his two-year stint with Asante Kotoko, Osei Bonsu made 38 appearances across all competitions.
