Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, embark on their 2024 WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers campaign this Sunday, facing off against Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle.
The highly anticipated match takes place at the Stade de la Paix de Bouake in Ivory Coast, marking the beginning of the tournament.
As the first encounter in Group B, Hasaacas Ladies aim to assert their dominance and set the tone for the competition.
The team’s prior experience in the tournament, having won the championship title in their inaugural appearance in 2021, positions them as a strong contender.
However, the Hasamal ladies will miss the services of their prolific attacker Abdulai Mukarama who is out due to injury.
Their match against Omnisports Etincelle is followed by a clash between Edo Queens and AS Garde National.
