Defender Emmanuel Kotei tells Asante Kotoko fans to expect more from him

Newly signed Asante Kotoko defender Emmanuel Kotei says he has more to offer the club fans after completing his switch in the just-ended transfer window.

The 26-year-old penned a three-year deal to join the club in the second round of the Ghana Premier League from fellow GPL side Nsoatreman FC.

“In modern football, the fullbacks play more during matches. Kotoko fans should expect more from me. I attack a lot as a defender and also defend well. I’m here to help the club to achieve greater heights” he told the club’s media.

Kotei has enormous experience in the Ghanaian topflight league, representing Nsoatreman FC and Tamale City FC.

The wing-back is expected to play a key role for the Porcupine Warriors, who are chasing the Premier League title.

Asante Kotoko currently sit second on the league log and a point behind league leaders Samartex.
