Czech Republic heavyweights Sparta Praha have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Ivan Mensah.
The youngster joined for an undisclosed long term deal, which was officially announced on Friday.
He is expected to be integrated at the youth level for steady development.
Prah’s sporting director Tomáš Sivok said: “Ivan is a right-footed, speedy central defender, with his tall stature and strength in duels he is a winning type of player who should fit into our system.
“He will start his summer training in Sparta’s B-team, where he will have the space and opportunity to acclimatize to the club.”
The 21-year-old was a regular for previous club Bystrica, having made 28 appearances.
