Communications Director of Kotoko outlines target for 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season

Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, is confident that the club will win the Ghana Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.

The Porcupine Warriors finished third last season, just five points behind champions Gold Stars.

Asante Kotoko has already begun recruiting players to strengthen their squad, focusing on young talents with a positive outlook and proven track record.

“We’ve taken our time to sign the best players from the country and will be combining them with some foreign ones. We will only sign young players with a positive outlook, a proven track record, and the ability to attract interest from abroad,” Sarfo Duku said on Akoma FM.

“We will field the best players, and if we are to improve little on last season’s performance, we will win the league title sooner than anticipated.”

Sarfo Duku also expressed the club’s ambitions in the CAF Confederation Cup, stating, “As for Africa, it’s been a while Kotoko qualified for the group stages, but the goal is to outperform our previous campaign.”
