Nsoatreman FC head coach Yaw Preko has expressed his excitement following their 3-0 victory over CHAD champions TP Elect Sport in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Speaking to the media after the game, Coach Preko praised his entire team for the impressive win in the first leg encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
It was the club’s first win in the competition on their first attempt.
“I’m very impressed and I’m excited with the performance. The entire team has done well. I know there are loops which we will work on before the return fixture,” he said.
“I instructed my players that when Elect-Sport pressed high, we should play quick one-twos and then go long. Once we started doing that, the goals came, confidence grew, and the team began to play some good football,” Preko said.
The Ghana FA Cup champions will travel to CHAD to face TP Elect Sport in the return fixture of the CAF Confederations Cup.
