Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah credits Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew for helping him adjust to the senior national team.
Bonsu Baah joined the team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers but initially didn’t feature in any games. However, he impressed in the Unity Cup, playing his first national team game.
“Before our game against Chad in Accra, I went to Jordan’s room to get a little advice on how I should play,” Bonsu Baah revealed exclusively to 3Sports.
“He’s very friendly and a very good guy. They’re very good guys because they just opened up and expressed their feelings, making you feel like you’re part of the team, so you can enjoy the moment.”
Bonsu Baah admires Ayew and Thomas Partey, saying, “I think Thomas Partey and Jordan Ayew because I really wanted to see them. Even in training, I was just staring at them and I was like, ‘Wow, it’s a dream come true for me to play with them.'”
With the World Cup qualifiers resuming in September, Bonsu Baah hopes to make the squad and shine alongside his idols. The Black Stars face Chad and Mali in the upcoming fixtures, and Bonsu Baah’s inclusion could be crucial for the team’s success.
