Following Black Stars defeat to Mexico in an international friendly, former Ghana international, Charles Taylor says that Chris Hughton is ‘not the man’ to lead the senior national team.
Ghana suffered a 2-0 defeat in the hands of the Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte with the goals from Hirving Lozano and Antuna Romero.
The result was Hughton’s first defeat in six games since taking over from coach Otto Addo in March.
Speaking on Angel TV Taylor unequivocally opined that Hughton is not up to the task.
“Chris Hughton is not a good coach. he won’t take us anywhere,” he stated.
The Black Stars will take on the United States of America at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
