Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso has again dropped a hint about playing in Spain
Alonso has a year left on his Chelsea contract but is sure he wants to start a new adventure in Spain. The Spaniard has shone in Italy and England and now it’s time to go home.
Barcelona are one of the teams that want him. They would like a left-back and Alonso fits the profile.
When asked about going back to Spain, he said: “I have a year on my contract.”
“I’ve said various times I would like it but in the end, it’s not all up to me. It’s clear that the desire to play in Spain one day is there.”
Along with Jose Gaya, the Chelsea defender is one of Barca’s top targets for that spot.
