Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman is set for hellish time against Angel Di Maria ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League clash at Paris St-Germain tonight.
Rahman, 21, is expected to start for the English champions due to the absence of captain John Terry and fellow centre-back Kurt Zouma.
The Ghana international will most likely profit from the injury of the Chelsea captain as he will be expected to operate from the left-back.
But the former Kotoko defender will come up against PSG’s dribbling wizard Angel Di Maria.
The Ghanaian must cope with the speed, skill-set and intensity of the former Manchester United wideman.
The Champions League rivalry between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain renews at the Parc des Princes with matters locked at one-tie apiece as the two European heavyweights collide for a place in the quarter-finals.
Chelsea knocked PSG out of Europe in the 2013/14 quarter-finals, only for the reigning French champions to follow suit and eliminate the Blues a year later in the last-16.
So for the third consecutive year, Angloe-French rivalries will be renewed as Chelsea travel to Paris for the first leg, before the second leg takes place at Stamford Bridge in three weeks’ time.
