Morocco has pulled out of the 2022 CHAN tournament due to flight issue with just a day for the commencement of the competition.
The Atlas Lions took the decision after host, Algeria declined to give them authorization to fly into their country.
This means the reigning champions will not be in Algeria to defend the title.
Morocco are in group C with Ghana, Sudan and Madagascar.
The competition will kick off on Friday,January 13 in Algeria.
