Ghana’s Medeama SC are set to leave the shores of the country for Egypt today for ahead of their CAF Champions League group stage clash against giants Al Ahly SC.
The Ghanaian champions will crossed sword with the Egyptian gainers on Saturday at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
They are expected to leave the Kotoka International Airport at 1:30 pm. with a 21-man squad and an 11-man technical team.
Medeama SC are in GROUP D with Al Ahly (Egypt), CR Belouizdad (Algeria), Young Africans (Tanzania), Medeama (Ghana)
Abdul Fatawu Hamidu, Jonathan Sowah, and Nurudeen Abdulai will join team in Egypt trip from the Black Stars camp.
Medeama booked their place in the Champions League group stage for the first time after eliminating Remo Stars of Nigeria and Guinean giants Horoya AC in the preliminary rounds.
