Court Of Arbitration of Sports (CAS) has lifted the ban placed on twenty-one (21) players by the Ghana Football Association believed to be involved in the Ashgold-Inter Allies match-fixing scandal with immediate effect.
The players were sanctioned by the Disciplinary a committee of the GFA who founded them guilty of manipulating the results on the match day 34 encounter two seasons ago.
But CAS has now overruled the decision after an appeal was lodged by FIFPRO through the PFAG.
The said players are now given the greenlight to go free without any ban and they will join any club of their choice.
AshantiGold SC and Inter Allies will feature in Division Two of Ghana Football for match manipulation.
