Nigeria striker Moses Simon is confident the Super Eagles will beat Cameroon in the Round 16 stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The winger is expected to feature for his country on Saturday when Nigeria takes on Cameroon in the second Round 16 game.
Speaking to the media team of CAF ahead of the game, Moses Simon admitted that Cameroon has a strong team.
He is, however, optimistic that the Super Eagles will be able to explore the weaknesses of the Indomitable Lions to secure a win.
“We feel good. We take the matches one after the other and we hope to do like in the previous matches. In 2019 we played against Cameroon, we know they are strong, and I think today they are better than in 2019 and we also improved as well. We know their weak points and so we will take the match as it comes,” Simon said as quoted by CAF.
The Round 16 clash between Nigeria and Cameroon will kick off at 8 pm tomorrow.
