CAF Confederation Cup: Future generations will benefit from lessons picked – Karim Zito

Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito expressed that he has gleaned valuable lessons from the club’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup, which he intends to pass on to future generations.

Despite the team’s 3-0 loss at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the semifinal second leg, leading to the progression of the Egyptian powerhouse to the final, Zito was full of praise for his team and emphasized the lessons learned from their remarkable debut campaign in Africa.

He highlighted the importance of these experiences for the team’s growth and development, indicating a positive outlook for the future of Dreams FC in the competition.

“We are young boys. Next time when we come here, we know how to go about it. I’ve picked up a lot professionally.

“We should behave like professionals. We should know how to treat certain situations around in the sport. You understand me? Look at what happened before we came here.

“So to me, I’ve learned a lot of lessons that I will impart it to the sports people in future. Because if I get the opportunity, I will start from day one.”
