Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo has named a strong starting line-up for their opening game of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League against RC Kadiogo.
The two clubs are set to lock horns in the preliminary round of Africa’s top-tier club competition at the General Mathieu Kerekou Stadium in Benin.
New arrivals – Enoch Morrison, Tedeku John and Steven Mukwala, have been handed starts by gaffer Zerbo.
Cameroonian attacker, George Mfegue gets a spot in attack but same could not be said for his compatriot Frank Mbella who will miss the clash after sustaining an injury.

Kotoko, who lost to Kadiogo on the African continent in 1979, hope to exact revenge on the Burkinabe’s and eventually end the 37-year-old winless run against opponents from the West African country.
