Medeama SC head Coach Evans Adotey has lablled AC Horoya as a “better side” after beating the Guinean side in the CAF Champions League preliminary stage.
The Tarkwa-based side ease past Horoya with a 3-1 victory in the first leg encounter on Sunday at the Cape Coast stadium.
The defending Ghana Premier League champions must now avoid defeat by less than a two-goal margin in the second leg to secure a spot at the group stages.
“We were under pressure from all the counter attacks from them [Horoya AC] so I will say we played against a better side but we took our chances unlike the other time we couldn’t create a lot of chances like we did today,” he concluded.
Medeama SC will travel to Conakry to face Horoya AC in the second leg encounter on September 30, at the Stade du 28 Septembre stadium.
