Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) announced today the successful resolution of disputes with beIN, expressing its delight in recommitting to their partnership. Productive discussions between beIN and CAF paved the way for the restoration of a mutually beneficial relationship.
Dr Patrice Motsepe, President of CAF, emphasized the organization’s deep commitment to promoting the interests of sponsors and partners. He highlighted the importance of adhering to good governance, ethics, and global best practices in CAF’s operations. Motsepe stressed that for African football to compete globally and become self-sustainable, it must offer world-class quality and appeal to spectators, sponsors, and partners.
Motsepe acknowledged the necessity of significant financial resources for investments in various football aspects, including youth academies, clubs, national teams, CAF Member Associations, stadiums, and infrastructure. Expressing delight about the partnership with beIN, he affirmed CAF’s commitment to fostering its growth and expansion for the mutual benefit of both parties.
