On Saturday evening, struggling Cadiz hosts in-form Barcelona at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla as the home side looks to claim their first points of the new Spanish league campaign.

The home team has made a woeful start to their campaign in La Liga, losing all four of their league games this season.

A 3-0 defeat at Celta Vigo last time out means that Cadiz has also failed to score in the Spanish top-flight this season while also conceding at least two goals at the other end of the pitch. Their poor league form has the Yellow Submarine rooted at the bottom of the table in La Liga.

Barcelona

The Catalan giants have started the new league campaign in sparkling form. Xavi’s team are unbeaten in their four La Liga games this season, having recorded three straight wins.

Barcelona’s sheer scoring prowess has played a significant role in their good start to the campaign, as they have scored at least three goals in each of their previous three league matches.

Unsurprisingly, summer signing Robert Lewandowski has started his career in Catalonia in prolific fashion, scoring five goals in his first four league starts for Barcelona.

Barcelona have been difficult to beat on their travels, having remained unbeaten in their last 17 away games in La Liga. That run includes winning eight of their previous nine league games on their travels in the Spanish top flight.
