Brian Brobbey delivers assist to lead Ajax to secure UEFA Conference League qualification over Bodø/Glimt

Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey delivered an assist to help Ajax secure victory over Bodø/Glimt in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League second leg tie in Norway.

Brobbey lasted only 42 minutes but made a good account of himself by setting up his sides opening goal in the match played at the Aspmyra Stadion.

Ajax opened the scoring through Steven Berghuis in the 34th minute after being set up by the Ghanaian forward.

The home team restored parity through Patrick Berg seven minutes to full time to force the game into extra time.

Before the return leg, Ajax and Bodø/Glimt had played out a 2-2 draw in Holland. But Dutch giant ensured they secure victory to progress after Kenneth Taylor fired home the winner in the 114th minute.

Ajax progress to the Round 16 of the Europa Conference League 4-3 on aggregate. However, Bodø/Glimt must now prepare for the upcoming domestic top-flight campaign.
